Goodview is a great Family Restaurant with excellent service and great food.

Their Won Ton soup an Special Chow Mein are the Best in Town.

We have been going there since they opened in the Colwood Plaza many years ago.

Usually it has been good, but this time it definitely wasn't. The Beef Chow Mein had hard noodles around the edge of the foil take out container and the beef was sour and off. The beef Chop Suey was off because of the beef taste. The S&S Pork and Dried Garlic pork was okay. The Wonton soup with noodles had very little broth in it. It was too bad because like I say we always had good food before.

Only issue was that Chow Mein was ordered but rice came. All good though— great meal!

Very tasty! Real tomatoes & sauce in the beef/tomato fried rice, not just sweet & sour sauce other places use; the sweet n sour pork was SO LEAN and very tasty, no fatty bits or gristle like other places; chicken/broccoli chow mein was different than any I’ve had before, so very flavorful; the chicken on the top was a bit bland and dry, could’ve done without it, but the chow mein was yummy all on its own. Not much beef in the beef/broccoli but everything else was great! I’d reorder everything except the beef/broccoli and would try a different chow mein than chicken. Fast friendly service, and NOT SALTY! We will be back!
